Anyone who knows me knows I have a love affair with being blonde. Ask my hair dresser. I went blonde for the first time in high school and it's been an epidemic ever since. For six years, my hair has been every color but I always manage to go back to having at least some degree of blonde in my hair (thank God for balayage!) At some point though, having blonde hair or even just some blonde IN my hair stopped being a chemical process that I was doing and instead became evidence of an identity crisis. Faith, Fitness, and Finances

Eight weeks ago, I embarked on my "fitness journey". I set out to become more disciplined in my eating and in my workouts in order to lose the 15 pounds I had gained. Little did I know that a whole lot more of me would changed. I have never really been a person of discipline or consistency. If anything took too long or was too hard, I quit, tried to find a way out, or tried to find the easiest way to get something done. Whenever my parents asked me to do something as a kid, I would come up with any and every excuse and my stepdad would tell me stop trying to "weasel out" when things got hard.
