New Year, New You?

I am a planner. I’m not the most organized or the most strategic but, at least in this last year, I have come to find that I prefer to have even the most basic plan in place for everything I do. With the coming of 2018, I got very excited to sit down and set goals for myself. 2017 was a year of accomplished goals - I lost weight, got a promotion, created a blog, and got into a wonderful relationship. The human condition is never satisfied with staying where we are though; we always want more, better, to reach new heights and create more success for ourselves. Strength = Femininity

What makes you feel strong? I used to be a cardio bunny. I was scared of lifting weights cause I didn't know correct form and was scared of being judged and scared of "looking like a man". This is a common fear in women who first start exercising. However, once I started lifting and getting stronger and seeing my body change in ways I didn't know possible, I felt strong inside as well as outside. I think that's why I love lifting weights so much. When the music starts and I put up the weights, there is nothing I can't do. That time in the gym is for me and me alone.
